In a press release issued today Pat Murphy the Republican Mayoral Candidate for New Milford again extended her "Thanks" to all who supported her in last weeks primary race. ( Ms. Murphy defeated past 3 term mayor Art Peitler in an almost 4 - 1 victory) " I am also extremely grateful to all who hosted a lawn sign on my behalf", said Ms. Murphy, " I think it is such a compliment when people are willing to publicly display their support for you on the front lawn of their home or business" she also commented. "In all our enthusiasm though some of these locations may have been overlooked by our sign collection committee. We are sensitive to signs overstaying their welcome and request anyone spotting any of my Murphy for Mayor signs to please call me at 355-3013 with it's location and I will be happy to retrieve it. Again, a humble thank you. "
